Zelensky Asserts Bakhmut is Not Occupied by Russia amidst Defiance

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine's president, firmly denies Russian occupation of Bakhmut, countering claims made by a Moscow-backed mercenary group.

Despite the ongoing battle, Zelensky affirms Ukraine's control of key buildings on the city outskirts.

During his visit to Hiroshima for the G7 summit, he draws parallels between Bakhmut and Hiroshima, pledging to rebuild his country.

While details remain undisclosed, Zelensky emphasizes that, as of now, Bakhmut is not under Russian occupation.

Anticipation builds for Ukraine's spring counter-offensive and the acquisition of F-16s from allied nations.
